SABRINA`S SCOTTISH HONEYMOON NIGHTMARE


Actress MELISSA JOAN HART`s dream honeymoon in Scotland turned into a nightmare when her romantic castle turned out to be a medieval wreck.
The SABRINA, THE TEENAGE WITCH star wed rocker MARK WILKERSON in Italy last July (03), but their romantic dreams in Europe were anything but magical once the couple arrived at the Scottish castle they`d booked for their honeymoon.
The actress says, "We thought we were staying at this great castle in Scotland and we ended up staying at this crappy little place with no shower and one little window.
"It smelled like grandma`s and you couldn`t go downstairs without a suit, and he (Wilkerson) decided he wasn`t bringing a suit after the wedding.
"It was too far to get anywhere. We had to take a cab into town. So we just wanted to get out of town, so we went to St Andrew`s Bay and played golf.
"Seven holes into it, he (Wilkerson) decided he wasn`t having a good time and he was done. The honeymoon really tested us but we seemed to bond together."

FOX BOSSES TAKE PILOTS TO THE STAGE


Executives at FOX TV in America have come up with a new way to see if their new pilot shows are hits or not - they`re putting them onstage.
The studio heads are staging one-act readings of all their potential autumn 2004 shows as part of a NAKED TV theatre run in Los Angeles - and they`re inviting the public to come and check them out.
Among the shows up on stage is a new sitcom called DIRTBAGS, starring MELISSA JOAN HART.

ACTRESSES TEAM UP FOR HOLLYWOOD YARD SALE


MELISSA JOAN HART, JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS and PORTIA DE ROSSI are among a host of stars who will be selling off their goods in a charity yard sale.
The actresses will be joined by the likes of AMY SMART, LISA RINNA and DIANA ROSS` daughter TRACEE ELLIS ROSS at the W MAGAZINE HOLLYWOOD YARD SALE, presented by fashion giant GUESS?.
Celebrities will host their own their own booths selling items from their personal and professional lives, including clothes from red carpet events, accessories from TV and film sets, music memorabilia and unwanted gift
bag items.
The sale will take place in Brentwood, California, on Saturday (20SEP03), with proceeds going to the ENVIRONMENTAL MEDIA ASSOCIATION

STARS MAKES A SPLASH FOR NEW BOOK


BENJAMIN BRATT, JACKIE CHAN and CLAUDIA SCHIFFER are among a host of stars who have posed in their swimming pools for a new book.
The soon-to-be-released HOLLYWOOD SPLASH features celebrities frolicking in pools - and JULIA ROBERTS ` former beau Bratt had one of the trickiest scenes to shoot, when he posed underwater dressed in a full suit.
Photographer VERONIQUE VIAL says, "It was difficult to capture but fantastic to do. He`s a good swimmer, but it`s not easy to swim in a suit and assume a different expression for each shot."
And SPLASH beauty DARYL HANNAH faced a different challenge when she posed for the page-turner.
Vial explains, "Daryl didn`t have a pool, so she filled her horse feeder with water, turned on music, and started dancing."
TROY GARITY, SARAH WYNTER, MELISSA JOAN HART and JENNIE GARTH also feature in the book, which hits shelves next month (SEP03).

Biography
Melissa grew up in Sayville, New York. Her acting career started at the age of four when she did a commercial for a bathtub toy called "Splashy". Her mother, Paula Hart, has been her agent from the beginning. Melissa has five younger sisters, Trisha, Elizabeth, Emily, Alexandra and Samantha, and one younger brother, Brian. All but the youngest sibling, Samantha, have been "in the business" in some capacity; Elizabeth, Emily and Brian have appeared on Melissa`s current TV series, "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch". Melissa performed in two plays as the youngest member of New York`s Circle Repertory Lab Company: "Beside Herself" in 1989 (starring Lois Smith and William Hurt) and "Imagining Brad" in 1990. She was also in the National Actors Theatre production of "The Crucible" on Broadway with Martin Sheen (as understudy to three of the children in the play). Melissa cites Shirley Temple and Audrey Hepburn as early acting inspirations. She still collects Shirley Temple memorabilia. For the past few years, she has been juggling acting and attending New York University. She`s now living in the Los Angeles area, starring in the ABC TV series "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" (1996), which is produced by Hartbreak Films, the production company run by her and her mother.
